Facial skin care

Wash your skin once or twice a day with mild soap or, better yet, firm syndet. Then thoroughly clean the skin with lotion using a cotton swab.

Lotions with the appropriate amount of alpha hydroxy and aromatic acids are the best, because they affect the elimination of comedones (blackheads). After cleansing, apply a cream with a long-lasting moisturizing effect.

As for makeup, I only recommend the use of liquid foundations with the label "non-comedogenic" (those that do not clog pores).

Body skin care

I recommend a short shower with lukewarm water and light water pressure (a few minutes - several times a day). The optimal water temperature is around 35.5 degrees Celsius - one degree lower than body temperature. Use mild soap / syndet only on the back of the neck, armpits, chest, lower back and between the breasts, groin and feet. It is not necessary to soap your arms, legs or hips every day. Liquid body skin care products, such as shower gels and bath foams, are unsuitable because they cannot be easily removed (rinsed well) from the skin surface.

Depending on the part of the body, the optimal pH is achieved after about 15 minutes of showering: the folded parts after 8-9 minutes, the face and the rest of the body after 4.5-5.5 minutes. This is a natural physiological mechanism that works properly only if shower products are completely removed (washed) from the skin.

After showering, apply a body skin care product with an optimal concentration of substances for long-term hydration and for restructuring the water-oily (hydro-lipid) film of the skin. This will prevent dehydration and the appearance of numerous diseases related to it - especially for people with atopic skin and prone to irritations (congenital and hereditary dry skin).

Powdered detergents and fabric softeners can also cause skin dehydration. I strongly recommend the use of detergents in the form of a gel (a minimum dose is enough - one scoop for one wash cycle) and without fabric softener. Also, special chemical detergents for stain removal, paint protection and similar products are not recommended, except for items that are not in direct contact with the skin.

Hand skin care

I recommend washing your hands regularly with soap or mild syndet. Regular hand hygiene only involves washing your palms. The backs of the hands should be washed only before meals and in case they are really dirty (from hard physical work, etc.). After washing, wipe your hands with a towel that has not been treated with powdered detergents or fabric softeners and apply a small amount of hand cream.

Drying the face, body and hands "in the air", as well as the use of paper towels, also leads to dehydration of the skin and is not desirable!

Makeup removal

Moisturize skin covered with makeup with lukewarm water. Apply makeup remover to the whole face or the desired area with your fingertips. Remove it with a cotton swab and wash your face with lukewarm water and mild syndet. Then apply a face lotion to moisturize the skin.

Normal skin has a glow, no blackheads, minimal wrinkles and barely visible pores of normal size. This is the rarest and most desirable skin condition. It is very common for people to have a mixed skin type - dry cheeks and oily T zone on the face, oily skin on the back, but dry on the legs, stomach and arms.

No matter what skin type you have, the most important thing is to try to keep it as clean as possible. Regularly remove all external impurities to prevent clogging of the pores and the appearance of pimples.

Keep in mind that it is necessary to eat healthy food for beautiful and healthy skin. Your skin is a mirror of your body.
